This guide will walk you through the key steps to get started with designing your first course on the platform.

Fay Creator Studio is designed to make course creation simple and intuitive. You can start building your course directly from two places:

✅ Option 1: Start from the Home Page

Once you log in, you’ll see a "Start Creating" button right on the home page.

Click it to immediately launch into the course development flow.

✅ Option 2: Start from Your Dashboard

Head to your Dashboard — your personalized workspace.

Here you’ll find:

A list of your created courses

Uploaded media files

Toolkits and resources for design support

Click “+ New Course” to begin your new creation.

Step 1: Fill Out Basic Course Info

Once you click to start a new course, you’ll land on a course setup form. This is where you input the essential details:

Course Title

Course Description

Level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)

Duration

Language

Industry/Field

📝 Tip: Be precise and clear. These details form your course summary and will help learners understand what to expect.

Step 2: Build Your Course Layout

You’ll next arrive at the Course Layout Page, where your actual course structure takes shape.

🧱 Use the Fay Institute Framework

Select tiles from our Fay Institute Framework to outline your course structure.

Each tile represents a lesson/module type you can customize.

Step 3: Add Engaging Content

Each tile you select becomes an editable content block using our accessible WYSIWYG editor.

What you can add:

Text content

Videos

Embed links (e.g., YouTube, PDFs)

AI-generated content using:

Lesson Content Generator

Quiz Generator

Image Generator

🧠 Tip: Use the preview window to see how your content will appear to learners.

Step 4: Preview and Download Your Course

Before publishing or sharing, preview your course in Student View.

You can also export your course in multiple formats (based on your plan):

Publishing and Sharing Your Course

After finalizing, your course will be available under your Teacher Profile. You can:

Choose to make it publicly visible to other educators and creators in the Fay Creator Studio community

Keep it private or restrict it to specific users

This feature not only showcases your work but helps you build a reputation and connect with fellow course creators.
